Since partnering with The Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals in 1983, Phi Mu collegiate and alumnae chapters have raised over $8 million in funding for over 170 children’s hospitals across the United States and Canada.

Why fit in when you were born to stand out? The sisters of Phi Mu have brought their talents and letters with them all across the world. From studying abroad in Italy to service trips in Nicaragua, Phi Mu’s presence is inescapable.

Phi Mu women are the epitome of inclusive and selfless individuals. Whether it be planning a local philanthropy event or fundraiser, one can expect to never be short of a helping hand no matter the case or time of year.

Part of the Phi Mu creed is to practice day by day love, honor, truth. For over 160 years, the woman of Phi Mu have carried out their founders vision of serving others, commitment to excellence, and lifelong friendship through a shared tradition. With continued growth and prosperity amongst its women, Phi Mu continues to set the bar high for Greek organizations nationally. 

3. ΦΜ was founded as a literary society

Phi Mu was founded in 1852 as a literary society. Although the organization no longer refers to itself as one, academics and career development continue play a vital role within this sisterhood. The commitment to academic excellence and preparation for life beyond college is key to building upon skills that will ultimately get your foot in the door with the right professionals.
