For every 1,000 or so propitious reviews, there are, well, a couple poor ones (which is pretty decent for over 1,500,000 listings)
Although Airbnb is clear about procedures taken to order search results on their site, the company obviously does acknowledge that poor reviews affect customers likelihood of booking a stay. Poor reviews tend to ‘blend in’ with the good reviews, making them both hard to pick out and to search for.
However, by modifying the search using certain keywords, we were able to pull out some recent and very unpleasant reviews made by both hosts and guests.
