Shortly after Donald Trump announced his bid for the 2016 presidential election, a feud erupted between The Donald and Macy’s over his brash statements concerning Mexico and the law-breaking immigrants he claims the country is sending over the border into the U.S.
Interestingly enough, Trump and the retail giant have a long history together; from selling his clothing line and other Trump-branded products, to featuring him in their annual Christmas campaigns, Macy’s sure did find a liking in Trump when it was convenient for them to do so.
Macy’s decision to cut ties with Trump had no effect on the Ivanka Trump collection, currently on sale now.

.@Macys was one of the worst performing stocks on the S&P last year, plunging 46%. Very disloyal company. Another win for Trump! Boycott.
